Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using pay.bt (the “Service”), a service of Abit Private Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Services Provided

pay.bt provides a payment gateway, wallet service, and merchant dashboard. Our Services are available only to registered merchants. Use of the Services for any unauthorized or illegal activities is prohibited.

3. Merchant Accounts

Merchants must create accounts to access the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or any applicable laws and regulations.

4. Fees & Payment Processing

We charge a 1% transaction fee on payments processed through our platform. Merchant settlements are made monthly via bank transfer. If a payment fails, the merchant must initiate a new payment to complete the transaction.

5. User Obligations

• Provide accurate and complete information during account registration.
• Use the Services only for lawful purposes in accordance with Bhutanese regulations.
• Notify pay.bt immediately if account credentials are compromised.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is” without any warranties. Abit Private Limited is not responsible for any errors, downtime, or issues arising from third-party integrations. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bhutan. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively by the Bhutan High Court.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updates will be communicated via website notices and notifications through our mobile app.
